People with the skill and talent to understand all this technology—and who can help push that technology forward into its next evolution—are highly sought after and will play a key role in shaping the future of our society.

Lincoln University's Computer Science Department is dedicated to giving you the knowledge and skill to be a leader in the computer science field. You'll be trained on essential skills like coding and development while simultaneously learning the mathematics and science fundamentals that underpin this technology.

All of our courses are taught by our experienced and knowledgeable faculty who have years of experience teaching and working in the computer industry. They'll be there for you to ensure you understand every concept being taught and to help you push your work to the next level.

Lincoln offers Bachelor of Science (BS) and Bachelor of Arts (BA) degrees in Computer Science. A minor is available as well. You can learn more about the program and the classes we offer in the current academic year course catalog.

Our faculty-supervised research is geared towards increasing the participation of a diverse group of student populations, especially underrepresented groups in this field, such as African-Americans and women.
